Alternative Gluten Free Pizza Topping

Alternative gluten free pizza topping, ideal for your homemade pizzas !

1lb Minced beef

3 cloves of garlic crushed

2 tins of tomatoes

tube of Tomato puree

2 tablespoons sugar to sweeten

Oil

Mix beef and garlic together and then fry in oil until browned. Add tinned tomatoes, tomato puree and sugar to taste.

Cook for 20 mins.

This is a good basis for spaghetti bolognaise but my husband, who is coeliac, loves it spread on pizza base (quite thickly) and then covered with slices of cheese and cooked in oven for 20-30 mins.

Obviously there is a lot of topping so it can be frozen into batches, enough for one or two pizzas at a time. This is what he takes to football and rugby matches. Our son and grandson, who are not coeliac, prefer this to 'normal' pizzas!
